USLCI Quarterly Release: Winter 2022 Update Version 1

Happy New Year! The USLCI Winter Quarter 2022 release is ready. The new release is available on the Federal LCA Commons in the NREL USLCI group repository:  https://www.lcacommons.gov, and the update in openLCA, zolca, and JSON-LD format can also be downloaded from the USLCI GitHub Support Content Downloads page

 

Overview of USLCI 2022 Winter Quarter Changes:

  • Updated emissions for e-glass dataset
  • Updated water consumption recycled postconsumer polyethylene terephthalate, PET flake
  • New steel hot rolled coil dataset
  • New steel pickled hot rolled coil dataset
  • New steel cold rolled coil dataset
  • New steel hot-dip galvanized coil dataset
  • New steel plate dataset
  • New steel section dataset
  • Updated propylene oxide dataset
  • Updated ethylene oxide dataset
  • Updated Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, ABS, copolymer resin dataset
  • Updated Polypol ether, for flexible foam polyurethane production dataset
  • Removed dated steel hot rolled sheet, steel cold rolled sheet datasets, and galvanized steel sheet

There is also now a method available to run USLCI results in openLCA with different versions of IPCC global warming potentials (AR4, AR5, AR6).
